Why is gold and silver jewelry so popular? Well, for one thing, neither of these precious metals corrode. That is, both gold and silver are resistant to rust. Not only that but both are very malleable which means that they can be shaped easily into many intricate designs. Gold and silver also don't tarnish and the skin doesn't react to either metals as opposed to other materials, such as nickel or copper. You might even have heard of custom body jewelry, which can be made to your exact specifications.

Gold and silver are also valuable, which makes them great investments for putting your money into. The prices of gold and silver might fluctuate over time but the consensus is that both are very valuable and will remain valuable for quite some time.
